Banner saga 3 dredge baby missing2/11/2024 So yeah, is there any way for Rook to survive? The only options I got immediately after battling Rugga's lackeys was to either let the dredge in or to keep the gates shut, and that was it.Īlso, I finally snapped and killed Rugga a couple of chapters back as I felt that the man was a threat to everything and just reeked of venom despite the fact that the world was ending, not sure if I should've spared him (if so, I'll probably have to reload an earlier save). I'm not sure if it's possible for Rook to survive, but I did get a Peace Offering achievement (apparently, it had something to do with the dredge baby that I saved way back in the first game, but there was no accompanying dialogue indicating this). I decided to have Rook open the gates, then he marched out and led them in, only for me to be presented with a scene immediately after where some idiot threw an axe or something and all hell broke loose resulting in Rook dying. (TLDR: i need to switch Ivers forge ahead skill to tempest.I'm at this bit where you confront Rugga's loyalists at the main gates of Aberrang, then shortly after that you're challeneged to allow the dredge in. but it must autopick?)Īnyway I need to edit this because I dont have the patience to play all the way from BS2 when Iver leaves again. I must not have chosen his second talent in my Alette BS2 (I didnt focus on him because i was expecting him to autolevel to 8 and figured i could PICK the damn second skill. So imagine my horror when I play my first Iver warped battle in Alette playthru and reach for my Tempest and find.♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Forge Ahead. Naturally, I wanted to copy this Iver for the Alette version as I really dont care for those other heros in that part of the story anyway (am I the only one who thinks Folka sucks?) and just want my whirlwind Iver to wreck the warped. So it's very likely that they haven't abandoned the plotline and will touch on it in BS3. On my Rook playthru I built an Iver that was an almost unhittable regenerating whirlwind of death. When you talk with Josurr in Lundar at the end of chapter 12, you can converse with him about the baby dredge if you kept him. The caravan led by Rook or Alette must go on a new patrol. I replayed this whole series when 3 came out. Chapter 21 Prev Chapter 19 This page contains the description of The Banner Saga 3's twentieth chapter - We Live as We Will Live. A massive oversight on my part has threatened to ruin a complete Alette replay all the way from BS1.
